Sofia Vergara's Mother Talked Her Out of Breast Reduction Sep 27th 2012, 08:15 Sofia Vergara waves to her fans while exiting a studio following her appearance on Katie on Wednesday (September 26) in New York City. The 40-year-old actress, in a Sofia by Sofia Vergara dress, chatted with the talk show host about deciding to not reduce her breast size. “At the beginning it was hard, and she [my publicist] used to tell me, ‘Maybe you should get to a more normal, standard size.’â€� Sofia said. “[My mom said], ‘God is going to punish you, you can’t chop your boobs out. It’s crazy. All the women are risking their life (sic) to get boobs.’ So I didn’t do it,” she added.
