Sofia Vergara Wardrobe Malfunction At The 2012 Emmys Sep 25th 2012, 12:53 No rips or nip slips — last night’s Emmys 2012 red carpet was amazingly had not any wardrobe malfunctions Onstage!   But backstage, there was another story. Sofia Vergara couldn’t manage to make it through the night in her stunning teal Zuhair Murad gown, which split at the lower bikini just twenty minutes before her show, “Modern Family,” won the Emmy award for Best Comedy.   Vergara, who keeps quite the social media tweeter posted a zoomed-in photo of her backside with the caption, “Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!” Several inches of zipper broke… right over her famous derriere.   Luckily Vergara had helpers available to fasten her back up. “20 min Modern Family won!! Dress malfuncion !!!
