Have we ever seen Ellen DeGeneres in a dress?!? In any case, the talk-show host's Sofia Vergara Halloween costume is one for the books, complete with butt-baring wardrobe malfunction.
Her Vergara impersonation? Well, she gets an A for effort.
Vergara famously tweeted a picture of her own thong-clad behind after she busted out of her skin-tight dress at the 2012 Emmy Awards, and DeGeneres revived the look for her holiday show, much to the delight of the studio audience.
Sofia Vergara's Emmys dress this year was unforgettable - so much so, that Ellen DeGeneres decided to wear it as her Halloween costume.
But if you followed Sofia Vergara on Twitter, you know that DeGeneres' costume wasn't as straightforward as it looked.
Wearing padding to create an exaggerated imitation of Vergara's curves, DeGeneres joked while trying out her best impression of the "Modern Family" star and pointing to her chest, "as you can see, I put my pumpkins out."
And then, she went in for a spin ... showing a sizable split in the backside of the dress, just like the one Vergara experienced in real-life at the Emmys. (Vergara tweeted at the time that it happened 20 minutes before "Modern Family" nabbed another award, but she was upbeat about it. "I luv my life!!!!" she posted.)
On DeGeneres' show Wednesday, as the comedian joked about how much work her "fake accent" pulled in, a more serious (at first) Vergara took the stage.
After doing a solid impression of what DeGeneres sounds like - and telling her she looked ridiculous - Vergara dissolved into laughter, and taught her a few Spanish phrases for the road. One of which, of course, was let's go dancing.
DeGeneres and Vergara, who've partnered for Cover Girl commercials, are apparently close enough friends that the latter felt comfortable dropping by for a cameo to tell the former that her backside looked, well, huge. Nice, ladies, nice.
Possibly more shocking than DeGeneres' dress, however, is Vergara's American accent.
Seriously, she can do one.
