Sofia Vergara was the best dressed on the redcarpet at the Emmys in Zuhair Murad mermaid dress with thigh slit.
However the zipper on her gown broke before the actress took the stage to accept the award for Outstanding Comedy Series with her Modern Family co-stars.
She reacted quickly by wrapping her fiancé Nick Loeb's tuxedo jacket around her waist before reaching backstage to her style team.
The story does not end there as Vergara had later posted a photo of incident on Twitter to her 2.7 million Twitter followers.
Back on stage later with the rest of the “Modern Family” cast, she looked as stylish and stunning as ever.
She partied the night in the same dress and later she posted numerous photos on twitter in which she was dancing a lot.
The 40-year-old Columbian native tweeted with the pictures "This is how the Colombians partyyy at the Emmys!!"
